ERD Landscape × Counterculture Zip-Up Hoodie — Flower Grey

Two worlds on one garment. Neither explains the other.

The front runs a large landscape across the entire chest: dense black silhouettes of trees and brush in the foreground, two small figures standing somewhere in the distance. The image is high-contrast, almost woodcut — the figures are barely visible, reduced to marks in a field of texture. The scale is the point. Nature is enormous. The people are incidental.

Flip it around. The back is a different universe: a close-up of a woman in dark sunglasses, photographed in the grainy high-contrast style of 1960s underground press photography. Around her, text and abstract marks bleed into the frame — a radiating sun symbol, fragments of print, layered collage. The image looks like it was pulled from a radical pamphlet or a countercultural magazine cover. The woman is the subject. She’s looking somewhere off-frame. The environment around her is chaotic and deliberate at the same time.

Front: landscape, silence, figures at a distance. Back: urban, individual, staring back. ERD put both on flower gray fleece and left the relationship between them unresolved. That’s the garment.
